I was born in Uzbekistan during soviet rule and immigrated to the United States in 1991, was raised in Northern California, after finishing my under grad where I got my curiousity for production and a fascination for cinematography I continued my education in Santa Monica, CA. I returned to Northern California in 2006 and started working freelance, eventually I landed a broadcasting job in Reno, NV and worked there for about three years. I didn’t like it and so pursued other opportunities, eventually I ended up in Portland, OR and started working events full time. In 2010 I got a full time position as a commercial video producer and have been incredibly happy ever since. I love art and the creative soul, most of my friends are creatives. My inspiration comes from other peoples awesome work and my motivation from music. I fuel up creatively by watching a lot of other peoples work and if that doesnt work I take a drive to clear my head. I love to travel and I dont mean anything exotic (even though I’d love to given the opportunity) no I’m talking about going from city to city, even on the same coast, although with my new position I’ve been quite fortunate to do some traveling to other parts of the USA other than the west coast. I’ve learned I’m quite good at corporate and commercial work, not just behind the camera but with all aspects of production from conception to post, a life worth living to me is full of travel and shooting.
